Scratch is an awesome tool which has simple visual interface that allows children to create digital stories, animations and games. They will figure out how different parts of the code or design work together. Brainstorming in Scratch will develop planning and problem solving skills which can lead them into other areas where these same talents would come handy like science research projects.
